Re: India Book of Records - A dark story

Scamsters and Fraudsters have many forms, but they all somehow focus on fake news to make their name and image. I had Biswaroop R Choudhari's book on memory, it was nothing special. Just some tips on memorising first letters of each word of the series, and such weak tips we all can figure out.
A wasted buy indeed. Could've helped a 8th standard kid maybe but not me. And it might've been plagarised content from a foreign author too, who knows?

Another such fraud was Ankit Fadiya or something- the self claimed computer hacker. He too has a similar story.
At age of 17 he sent a mail to CHIP magazine editor, apologising for hacking CHIP's website. Guess what, the editor invited him to discuss how he hacked over email, but he didn't come because the website never was hacked in the first place. But he used that email for big claims.
Similarly he made tall claims about how the US invited him to improve their security levels. All fake. His tips include changing your password every 15 days, wow, how could have we guessed this?

By the end of it, he was charging solid money on every lecture delivered in a college where he avoided very basic questions on hacking, and delivered lectures on googled windows hacks for changing look and feel of the PC.
But he made money anyhow.

Same is for rindam Choudhari who played with students' life & career with fake university.

Best is to expose such people. Well done @RiderZone

Thanks to Strava, I may have a shot at one record. The longest time taken to cover 16 km on a cycle. Starting a TBHP funding campaign to pay for the application

Re: India Book of Records - A dark story

I was in an eye hospital yesterday and they had a large frame taking place of pride on one of their walls about it being world's first "third eye clinic in an eye hospital" - an award given by something called "Wonder book of records".

I can't being to understand what that record means but you can be sure its just plain stupid.
Make whatever you want of it, for your eyes : http://wonderbookofrecord.com/worlds...-eye-hospital/
I would be ashamed to even accept such record if I had any self respect but I guess it counts to some.

Judging by the website I am willing to say this one is even more dubious than India book of records.
