re: What to do with some diesel & mostly petrol mixture? Like everyone has said, it can be jolly well used as a liquid soap for degreasing and also as a lubricating agent. And sometimes metal and chrome plated (chrome is rare these days) parts are only to happy to be sprinkled with diesel during monsoon to preserve the shine. Diesel also acts as a rust preventive. Avoid plastics (a total NO for petrol on plastics) rubber bushes and rubber parts while using this liquid soap.
And if you could have handed over this wonder concocted cocktail to some village folk who owns either a Bajaj m 80 or a Rajdoot 175cc or a Jawa/ Yezdi, he would be only too happy. But very few of these survive now. Till the 1990's when these were ruling the villagers mobility charts, I have seen several litres of kerosene being poured into their petrol tanks many a time, in kerosene shops. Hence used to kerosene, these bikes will have a feast with the cocktail.
