I had opted for both Echo and TMT but in hospital, it became "or" instead of "and" and only Echo was done. I forgot to mention that when the cardiologist asked me to repeat the tests after 3 months, he asked me to do TMT instead of Echo this time.

You are right about random info on internet vs. advise from doctors you trust. I have decided not to take any chance and whatever medicines, if any, is advised by the doctor next time - whether BP or cholesterol, will start it.
