Cars can wait, Covid won't: Maruti starts multi-speciality hospital in Gujarat in partnership with Zydus.

Maruti Suzuki starts a multi-specialty hospital at Sitapur, Gujarat.

At present, Maruti states that the facility has been converted into a Covid-care establishment.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited in partnership with Zydus Hospitals announces the start of a multi-specialty hospital at Sitapur in Ahmedabad District of Gujarat. With a total capital expenditure of ₹126 crores, the hospital has been 100% funded by the Maruti Suzuki Foundation – a CSR initiative of Maruti Suzuki.

The hospital will be managed and operated by Ramanbhai Foundation, the CSR arm of Zydus Group. The hospital is also assisting in taking care of Covid-19 patients and strengthening the fight against the pandemic.
It will be the first multi-specialty hospital in and around Hansalpur and Sitapur region, Ahmedabad District

To benefit around 3.75 lakh beneficiaries residing in Becharaji, Sitapur, Mandal, Mehsana, Patan, Viramgam, and nearby districts

Presently being used as a Covid Care facility to help treat patients in the region.

24x7 super specialization hospital offering services such as emergency care and trauma, advanced diagnostics, critical care for stabilization in life-threatening conditions, mother & childcare, cardiac care, eye care, burns, ENT, internal medicine, and general medicine.

Manned by qualified and experienced doctors recruited and trained by Zydus Hospitals.

Integrated residential facility with 160 dormitory occupancy and 20 two-BHK flats for staff employed in managing operations of the hospital. It has facilities like a gymnasium, cafeteria, shops, library and garden for the staff.

Maruti Suzuki has partnered with Zydus Hospitals to open a multi-speciality hospital in Sitapur, Gujarat.

The new hospital has been set up at a cost of Rs. 126 crore and completely funded by the Maruti Suzuki Foundation - a CSR initiative of the company. The hospital will be managed and operated by Ramanbhai Foundation - the CSR arm of Zydus Group.

The hospital is expected to serve over 3.75 lakh people, including Covid-19 patients, residing in Becharaji, Sitapur, Mandal, Mehsana, Patan, Viramgam and nearby districts. The facility is spread over 7.5 acres and has 50 beds at present. However, this number can be increased to 100 beds depending upon the demand.

50 beds? Is it typo? Maybe it is supposed to be 500.
