Hey guys

just read the ad in the friday times drive( supplement with the TOI ) in bombay

NAvnit motors has placed an ad for some pre-owned BMW's for sale

sorry , dont have the newspaper right now here with me, but all that i can remember is :

the following models for sale

525 tds, some petrol ones too
725 (2 nos)
740
some regular 3 and 5 series

one rare model *840 i coupe.

two range rovers also for sale
one was a aniversary model.

jeep cherokee for sale too

tried to check out the site www.navnitmotors.com
It was as 2 years back, pathetic , shame as a exclusive *BMW dealer , no details of any of the cars.

they dont even have any info of the latest models , the pics are also of the old models,

no proper info on buying new or used cars,
the website is just for the name sake.
the owner drives a 1.25 crore car ( 760 Li), and the website is not even 12500 bucks ,I think all of us will agree to this

I think they mentioned a email address in the ad

bmw@navnitmotors.com
OR
bmwinquiry@navnitmotors.com
OR
inquiry@navnitmotors.com

if any one has the newspaper cutting , can put some more ROSHNI on this please

R
Dipen

hey Dipen,

I noticed the ad in the papers too. The only one that caught my eye was the 840i. One of the best looking cars ever made IMO. The design is just timeless!

Wonder how much they asking for that

840 price should be around 15-16 lakhs. An a-1 840 in the UK costs around 12000 pounds at the most.

22l for a 318 !!!! rather spend a little more and buy a c -class *- these guys are in cuckooland

thanx a lot Rtech ,

even I tries to checkout , but they did not have any technical details.
I told them why not put all the details on the website. as other dealers do , and they seemed to be confused as to wht , how, ok , will try , check with seniors etc ?

BTW , dosent the pricing for the 840i seem expensive ?

i there is no mistake in typing from Rtech , there would be a queue outside NAvnit , something similar as if the government is selling free ration.

Oh yeah, the 840 would be my choice out of the list too. For the price though, you could get a 850 CSi, my pick of the 8 series, fantastic machine. And the most good looking of the BMWs, right after the M1. If i had 25 lakhs, i would have probably picked this one up. Sheesh...

sorry all to bump a super old thread,...

its been 3 years since this thread, anyone with fresh ideas on,...
- buying an used and VERY OLD BMW
- what price range to expect for an E28 5 series of the 1980s, E34 5 series of early 1990s?
- will the car as old as it can get like the E28 or E34 be reliable?
- does navnit, thane still have a pre-owned BMW division?

anymore inputs and advices from current owners of old BMWs on the forum will be wonderful.

P.S.: Mods, please move this thread to a more appropriate section. Thanks.
