Hi all,
What is with this, appearing and disappearing monoliths?

First found and lost in Utah desert, Second found in Romania and Third in California.

What you think? Is it some alien or some folks doing it for attention?

You could start with couple of reliable links which do not disappear like that monolithic. I'm big science fiction fan but this just looks like a prank.

Somewhere, someone is really having a good chuckle with his buddies over a couple glasses of aqueous solution of C2H5OH who set up these things up.

Can someone really by naïve to believe that this is indication of out of world alien stuff?

This definitely looks like prank. I even saw photo in some tweet where some people were removing the plank in the night.

But I am curious, how conspiracy theories in the future will revolve around this event? When this event is out of memory from the current generation, next generation will find this event as amusing one which will be part of different alien conspiracy theories.

Fortunately there is internet to document all the details.

About twenty years back one self proclaimed historian was walking off a trail in Goan jungle. When taking a piss, he found a roughly cut chopper of stone. Guy came back to the town assembled people and was super excited talking about the apparent stone age weapon that he had just found. Just when he was about to finish, a sheep shepherd who was passing by and heard the commotion, was absolutely stunned to see his creation, which he nomade during free time when sheep's were feeding.

PS: Any resemblance to the story of monolith is purely intentional.

I read somewhere in comments (in another forum) that It was probably an IKEA dresser someone had dropped it off. But the only question was why there?

And there was a new monolith foun in California an interestingly its not fixed as sturdy as its found in the other places. Hurried installation?

I thoroughly believe this a prank and we have better things to follow.

Looks like they are making memes out of these monoliths by making them as EV charging units and petrol pumps and associating with famous cars and brands.
