I had a tough time buying toys for my nephews and friends' kids as whatever I bought for them, the parents would have already got. Then I came across a website selling coloring books. All we need to do is to take printouts. It was an instant hit with the kids. Some fathers also took to colouring

Combining the suggestions of @indihonda and @arjunsatheesh - Am hooked already. Imported the PDFs into procreate on iPad pro and voila - unlimited fun ! Now all my long flights are gonna be much more productive

I am someone who is an avid scale model collector since childhood.
I can list down few things which kids will love to do.

1) Take a small bucket and fill it with water (kids can do this in bathroom), take a small stool and they can play truck driver here with bucket rim acting as wheel.

You can add or remove the water in bucket as per your liking, it will change the steering response.

2) Take a rectangle cardboard and make a small town out of it by painting roads.

3) Put pillows under bed to simulate hills and kids can use their SUV's here to play.

4)Take them out on a Go-Karting session.

5) Make a cardboard bus, use any rectangular shaped readymade box and get the kid to draw windows, lights etc to make it look like a bus.

6) Visit a big car showroom for fun.Kids love to sit inside all sort of cars, just need to ensure this is done with discipline without hindering the work of showroom. Alternatively can take kids to your FNG when you drop or pickup your car.

I did this a couple of years back, took my son to the Mercedes Benz and BMW show rooms located conveniently beside each other. I asked the staff if I could show my son around and they obliged, I told him strictly no touching and sitting inside and he didn't. However, in the BMW showroom they had scale models on display and for purchase and the most expensive and the largest (1:12 scale) caught his fancy...

Had a lucky escape...was able to convince him that they were not for sale and only showpieces.....
