I drive an 11 year old TDI but I waited 40 years to see one of these -racing, this actual car I think.
I'll wait another 40 (...) if i get to have a ride in one.

With great difficulty! You ought to see how difficult it is for me to get out of the car when the top is installed.

No, the Elise is not preowned. I bought it new. In the pictuire, thats just the dealer's pre-owned lot on the other side of the street.

It makes 190hp.

The Exige has more downforce so its more stable at high speed corners. But its also heavier, has no rear window, and it is extremely claustrophobic compared to an Elise.

My Elise is a track oriented version of the Elise (its one of 50 that were made). It has a very sophisticated Ohlins suspension, its lightened compared to the regular Elise, and its brakes and clutch have been upgraded for the track. Because of the sophisticated suspension and the lower weight, it is the best handling Lotus of all and will outlap an Exige, despite the higher downforce of the Exige. Though not the supercharged Exige S due to that car's extra power. When I have some spare cash, I am going to install a supercharger on my car that will lift it to 252hp, using the same supercharger thats in the Exige S

But unlike sum in this thread
its the one i love every time.
Loving cars is an ego based act, where as loving a human has the capacity for commpassion & thus much more fulfilling

My love comes first, luckily for me she supports my passion as well. This topic kind of reminds me of a song by George Jones, I pasted the lyrics in here...

I stopped off at the Quick-sack
for some beer and cigarettes
the old man took my money
as he stared at my corvette
He said I had one just like her son in 1963
'Til a man down at the bank took her from me

Oh, she was hotter than a two dollar pistol
she was the fastest thing in town
long and lean every young man's dream
she turned every head in town
she was built, and fun to handle son
I'm glad that you walked in
she reminds me of the one I loved back then

So I handed him my keys and said here take her for a spin
the old man scratched his head, and then he looked at me and grinned
He said son, you just don't understand
it ain't the car I want
It's the brunette in your Vette that turns me on

Oh, she was hotter than a two dollar pistol
she was the fastest thing in town
long and lean every young man's dream
she turned every head in town
she was built, and fun to handle son
I'm glad that you walked in
she reminds me of the one I loved back then

She reminds me of the one I loved back then

the thread poll is between the one you truly love and the car you truly love. has to be the one! so i voted for the one(not TheOne tm)

if it was just any, superhot babe versus an WRC spec Impreza, it would be the Impreza a 100 times over.

come to think of it, even if it was a stock nissan patrol, i'd still pick the nissan patrol over a s3x goddess.

I also say the one i love over my dream car.
Yes, cars have a important place for me, but though it is harsh saying this, in the end, it does not match up to love which is higher in importance in life.

Love my vehicles even more than myself, remember an incident in which I went flying after accidentally going over a unmarked speedbreaker at too high a speed on my scoot and crashed into a Santro front fender. When people finally gathered around the accident scene and asked me if I was alright, the only thing I was concerned about was my scoot and I asked them if my scooter was alright.

That accident you described had me in splits

1st thought that came to my mind was a mix of a cartoon and real life visualisation of you hitting the speedbreaker and go flying to the bumper while the scooty makes its own road and you falling and then gettin up and saying "Daiyuumm" hahahaha

The next thought was a serious one like in real life types. Hope you dint hurt yourself too much.

Not much, balanced the scoot quite well moreover I had proper safety gear and had it not been for the the front supension which broke because of the impact I would have actually saved the accident from happening at all. And you know one funny thing the santro was not moving it was parked, maybe had it not been there, even after the front supension broke I could have gone past without crashing.

And one request don't call it a scooty(thats too feminine), its a proper 4-stroke scoot with DIY FFE, air filter et all and its exhaust note could send motorcycle owners(except Bulleters) running for cover.

C'mon, give us bhpians some slack, knew the car was parked, else it would have been a only 18+ violence cartoon

Allright, i take back my "scooty". Dint realise it was offensive.
Is scooter fine?
