Spray some Baygon and shut the vents tight , close all windows and doors - and then pray and hope they run out of the vent on the dash board..then dont try to swat them , just take a newspaper and push them out of the car.

If anyone else has a better way , please share.

No N_C, thats the only way to do it. The other way is to adopt a lizard and keep that in your car

Cockroach ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin bhi hai.

This is a great thread to revive

Baygon may lead to dead cockroaches.
Try some repellant like odonil etc., near the vents. The roaches will run out due to discomfort.
Locating them after they come out will be a tough job.
another thing you need to do is lift your carpets and locate which drain hole is missing etc., due to which the roaches entered the car.

Hi,

The most effective method is to get hold of a anti roach gel sold by Godrej or get them to treat it for you. It does not smell and is guaranteed to keep your car cockroach free. You can also use another product which looks like white clay(atta) done by PCI.

Both are very effective in getting rid of existing roaches and preventing future ones.

even i had this prob with my old car(fiat uno) well i used to spray baygon or mortem keep the blower on with the setting where air is passed through all the vents close all windows & let the air circulate inside for a few minutes, with me outside works very well & as a preventive measure keep 1 or 2 napthelene ***** under the seats and a 2 more in the boot dont use more or the smell will be overpowering, works well even for ants

First time cockroaches have made a headline on Team-BHP That too 2 playful baby cockroaches playing innocently

Sorry Kiran - couldnt resist - just some harmless fun! Anyway, on a more serious note, you should use that "Laxman Rekha" roach-repellant marker available in pharmacies that repel roaches away from the line you draw using them. You could draw around your parking area.

You definitely need to get rid of them pronto. I wouldn't like them running up my pants leg at 80kmph on the highway. UGH!

It would be nice (for you) to have them run up your date's skirt/jeans though :-D (When the car is parked someplace quiet).

that would definitely involve training the roaches... do the pet trainers consider such requests?

Vacuum Cleaner

Vacuum Cleaner, for wht r these for?

blow the sh** out of the cockroach or either suck it in while it does the "moonwalk "while getting inside the cauum cleaner .

if cockroaches dies inside ur car ull have tough time cleaning it. Better to blow it out or suck it in with the vacuum cleaner.

Maybe they thought to have their honeymoon inside the car as they want to feel the "heat" .

Where is the tool for giving raspberries to one of the worst threads on team-BHP?

I recommend we change the name of this thread to "Ooee Ma!! Cockroach"

Somehow I have the feeling that if your trained cockroach does enter your date's skirt the intimacy you want would be the last thing on the girl's mind You're more likely to get a high-pitched shriek followed by life-long comments on how dirty & disgusting your car is. So watch out what you wish for
