I was playing around with the FM Radio here in Bangalore and came across this new Channel at 91.90 MHz called Radio Indigo. Is this the same Radio Indigo who were available on World Space and then disappeared?

Seems like a nice alternative to the Radio City. I dodn't listen to Radio Mirchi as I am not too fond of their programming.

Radio Indigo was Rajiv Chandrashekar's baby....wonder if he's still at it. Must be figuring out ways to get rid of his not-so-newly-acquired (and ill-gotten?) wealth.

Anil Ambani's Big FM is already started in Hyderabad. They are playing some nice hits in Telugu and the audio quality is better than the rest including Radio Mirchi. Hope the RJ's speak some sensible stuff unlike others. It's being officially started for Dussera. Now it's only trial run and so no RJ talk.

Not long ago there was not even one FM radio in Hyd except the AIR and now we have 4 channels in 9 months.

Don't know abt World Space, but 91.9 seems to be a good channel - hardly any commercials and full with international music - incl chants/bhajans during peak-hour traffic!
