Trip to Kerala - Info on vehicle hire services in Cochin

Hi,

My family is planning a 4 night - 5 day trip to Kerala in November. We need a vehicle ( preferably a tempo traveller) for transporting 10 people from Cochin airport - Munnar-Thekkady-Kumarakom-Cochin airport.

If any one of the local guys know some reliable transport/hire operators in Cochin, it would be of great help since we do not have any contact in that area.

Also what would be the approx running in kms for the itinerary suggested above ? Any alternative / better itinerary suggestions ( based on weather in month of November) are also welcome.

thanks,
~A

You'll find them at the airport itself. Else contact Classic Travels, Mr. Ramachandran @ 0484 2 390 183 for a friendly neighbourhood taxi.

There are many other established operators like

Kumar Taxis www.kumartravels.com

Ensign Taxis
Address : Jos Junction, M. G. Road, Cochin-682011
Phone : 0484-2375080

See more here:

or PM Speedzak, the 'chetthu' boy in town. You'll find out what 'chetthu' means in Kerala.

Nov will be ideal time to be at Munnar, especially this year with the Neelakurinjis blossoming every where. You are sure to enjoy it. and it will be comfortably chilly, though not as much as in Jan Feb

I am going to visit kerala this april. I have planned for 2 nights at Alleppey and 1 night at kumarkoram. I already have booked my hotels. Now I would request the honorable members from the region to suggest me out in hiring taxi from Cochin. We are two people and a kid.

I would prefer a self drive cab. Any idea about the cost? Both Self Drive and Chauffeur Driven?

Thanks in Advance
