Is that a plastic scorpio..I had seen something like this in a toyshop..But was too small...Is it available in the 1/18 scale??

Also can anyone give me an average price for 1/18 scale models, maybe from Maisto or other brands.
I just need an apprx. price so that I dont get fooled when I buy them (it usually happens when I buy anything, I go and give something extra... I'm too bad at bargaining.)

I plan to get something from a nearby toyshop just wanted to know some cutoff price!!

Yes, it is a plastic scorpio.

About prices of 1:18 cars, Maisto usually starts from around Rs.1300 onwards depending upon the kind of cars whereas AutoArt starts from around Rs. 2800+ and can go upto Rs.4000.

Usually, prices are the same everywhere since the importer, i.e., "Creative Education" puts its sticker on every box which has the price, date of manufacture, date of import etc.

You can start off with Maisto and then move on to better brands like AutoArt, Kyosho and so on as time progresses.

well the "box" states "Official Fast and the Furious - Tokyo Drift Merchandise" - manufactured by Nikko. I bought it from Shopper's Stop (kids Section) - even 1100D has got the Golden Nissan 350Z from the same edition - see his Orkut Gallery.

IIRC - 1100D has got this one:

edit: sorry didnt post the full image (read: "skinny" model next to the car)
