Figured the Bayside Blue was better suited to black alloys than the silver, so modded it to have black wheels.

Neo

Royal Enfield has launched the 1:3 scale model of their popular lineup and I had the privilege to witness a few up close during the 2022 Rider Mania. The attention to detail is very obvious. Also had the privilege of interacting with a gentleman from the Design team, who informed me that RE is working on these scale models for all their releases, currently in production. I was obviously most interested in a Forest Green model of B500. but that I guess, will probably never ever materialize. These 1:3 models come with a working type clutch, brake levers, and an ignition key. I did not try the gear lever though ( I was simply awestruck with this ART and visited the outlet all three days) I typically wanted to know if RE is also thinking to bring some sort of a working engine under this; might be too far fetched as I was all bowled up, but the gentleman did not deny either. Putting it over here, as some of you might be interested in these life-like scale models. These are worth a gem. The price is approx 70K. Do enjoy some of the pictures

Wandered into one of the zillion Hamleys shops in Bangalore today. Came out with a couple of Majorettes.

Then trailed along with my wife into the Nicobar Store and grabbed these cute little tin biplanes and a wind up engine. A couple years back I’d got another wind up engine and wind up aircraft from that store.

Re-living childhood…

Got a RedBull RB16B in the Honda tribute white livery.
Looks fantastic! :loveit

A stylized scale model (approximately 1:14) of the Pagani Huayra R. This is one of those "made from a single billet of Aluminum" things that Pagani does, and it is remarkably heavy. They will make one such model for each actual car, so eventually only 30 should be in existence.

I have this 1:18 scale model of 1995 Ferrari F50, which was sitting in my collection, and this weekend, thought of taking it out and showing a few photos.

I purchased this model long back, sometime around year 2000 in the US. Thus, this scale model itself is more than 20 years old now, and unfortunately, has a few nicks and scratches, and some dust marks which are visible in the photos. Sorry about those.

This model has quite a good amount of details. The mode itself has "Made in Italy" mark in the bottom.

I tried my hand at making a Rajdoot Scale model last year, it is approximately at 1:16 scale, It is my first effort hence there are rough finishes.
Materials used, Foam sheet, Empty pen refills, Steel wires, electrical wire(thin) and foil.
Moving parts are the wheels and handle.
Took me approximately 2.5 full days time.
Why a Rajdoot? it was the first ever automobile I kick started when I was a high school going boy.
Here are the pictures.

Good work there! clap:
As you said there are rough finishes, but nothing beats the joy of knowing this was built, not bought.
