Diwali time is scale model time.
(Actually in my case any time is scale model time)
Two beautiful little Lancia Stratos’s in Vicennes Blue to complement their brothers in Red which I got around a month ago.
And a neat little Ford GT Heritage Edition.
These Mini GT cars in 1:64 size are really superb in terms of detail.
My tiny little fleet of Lancia Stratos’s.
Two in Red and Two in Blue.
And that Porsche in Martini Livery looks lovely when viewed from different angles.
Truly Gorgeous little cars.:)
Visiting Singapore for a couple days.
Just couldn’t resist grabbing a few little 1:64’s from Nikko in Far East Plaza, Orchard Road.
I ve wanted this particular car a long time. Each time I looked for it on my travels to various Tintin Shops around the world, it was out of stock.
Luckily this time around I found it last Friday in the Tintin shop in Singapore, so I bought it immediately. There are two scales. 1:24 priced at 130SGD and 1:43 priced at 50SGD. The one I always wanted was the 1:43.
I ve always liked that irreverent ‘gangster-worthy-catch-me-if-you-can’ wave of Bobby Smiles in Tintin in America.
1:43 Ambassador 1:43 Fiat 1100 1:43 Daewoo Cielo 1:43 Skoda Fabia
Fiat 125 Mirafiori Cousins
These have just come.
There seems to be a bit of a revival of Majorette and I quite like their cars. Inexpensive. Of particular interest was the 5 Jimny pack all officially licensed by Suzuki.
Also Mini GT which I really like because despite being so tiny, they are highly authentic. Since I love the Porsche with the Martini Livery I grabbed one more -
One to preserve and one to play with.
Few of my M2 jeeps, in one frame

In case anyone comes across a model of a Nexon (preferably in black) please let me know. I need one for my Nexon dashboard.
Wife came back from a trip to the US and brought me these pretty rare old Matchbox Jeeps.
Here’s a few cars from my collection:
a. 1:87 2004 Mercedes ML class. Smaller than my thumb.
b. 1:43 Fiat Abarth Punto S2000
c. Land Rover Defender 110 (old gen)
d. Ferrari 550 Barchetta Pinninfarina. Lost the ORVMs, unfortunately.
e. 1:32 Mercedes AMG C-Coupe W204. I have the same car in my driveway, but in a far more tamed formrl:
