Muira, Cobra, 300 SL and 190 SL.

Not sure about the white one though.:D

White one looks like 50s Corvette - tail lights are the clue

Received the first of the 2019 F1 models. This one is Charles Leclerc's SF90 by BBR (Scale is 1:18).

Somehow the mat red that Ferrari went with last year doesn't quite evoke the same emotions you typically get from a Ferrari.

Other 2019 models on the way include; (i) the Safety Car; (ii) Mercedes W10 from the Monaco GP (with the red halo as a tribute to Niki Lauda); (ii) W10 from the German GP (with their special commemorative white livery); and (iii) Lewis Hamilton's W10 from the US grand prix.

Hi,

could you share a reliable URL for order such scale models ?

The SF90 is available here*:

https://www.bbrmodelstore.com/Englis...AST-METAL.aspx

*Realised that the Leclerc model is sold out as I was typing this message.

BBR will ship really fast using DHL or FedEx. Model will reach you within a week, but with full custom duty payable.

Minichamps models (i.e., the Mercedes ones and the safety car) are available here:

https://www.minichamps.de/angebote_n...nkuendigungen/

Though most of the models might already be sold on the Minichamps website also (only the US GP W10 and the German GP W10 might be available on pre-order). Minichamps uses DHL to ship (this is not DHL express, so their tie up is with India post), so takes longer to reach you (sometimes a month from dispatch), but small chance of avoiding customs.

Also try ebay, there are many good resellers. Though prices are a bit more than on the websites.

Message me if you need any more info.

A recent addition to my collection - more to come. This one was created using that lovely background. The text is from an old as of the T2 Double Cab Pickup.

The VW T1 Double Cab Pickup

Have been waiting a while for this one to arrive, it's finally here. Arguably CMC's best model yet.

Damn!! Damn!!

How you convinced yourself to spent this kind of money on a "TOY"?

Hahaha.... I get asked this a lot. And I've tried reasoning out to whoever asks. So here goes...

....these models (especially CMC ones) actually appreciate in value. There's emperical proof of this, models upon first being released would retail for about 350$, now sell for close to 650-700$ on ebay (Example, this one: https://www.diecast.org/diecast98/ht.../reviewpix.htm). Assuming you buy from India you also make an upside on the devaluation of the rupee.

To which, I most often get asked if I'm really ever going to sell one of these. Well, do we ever sell the gold jewellery we buy (supposedly as investment)!?

P.S. There's this model by Minichamps (1:18) of Alonso's last race at the 2018 Abu Dhabi GP, the damn thing released on a month back (180€ on the Minichamps website) and already sells for 350-400€. Though this was a super limited edition (only 500 odd pieces)
