Delicious. Simply delicious. Which are the shops at Janpath & Khan Market you have bought from. I would like to go sniff around. Regretfully I am not coming to the airshow this year.

Thank you for your kind words, Mr Narayan and Shankar! Glad you both liked it.
Mr. Narayan, one of the shops was in the alley beside Bahri and Sons. The other which no longer exists was in the corner Next to Archies Gallery. In Janpath, it was near the circular book store.

Here is a 1924 Hispano Suiza H6C Tulipwood Torpedo. Hope you both like it! the scale is 1:24 from Franklin Mint and is made in wood.

AJ7, you have a fabulous collection. Where in Bangalore are you based. You seem to have many gems. By the way tomorrow morning the scale model guys are meeting at cubbon park for a meet.

Thank you for the compliments, Manish. I would love to join but am in a company training for this and the next weekend.

No problem bro, where you work. I work for Caterpillar as a Product Support for Generators and live near Whitefield railway station.

I have tried connecting with you but you are still a newbee so can't message you. How do we connect, can you PM me.

Volkswagen Classical Beetle Kinsmart 1/32

Mercedes Benz Convertible

Aston Martin DB5 (1963) Mattel

Mustang, and other Mattel scale models of 1976-1983 vintage

With white wall tyres. Nice. But how come in such pristine condition!?!

Just survived when kept in glass showcases. Two more , a T-Bird and another Mattel scale model of 1977-78 vintage

Kinsmart '57 Chevrolet Bel Air and '50 Chevrolet Suburban

For me personally (even though I collect smaller scales), Kinsmart gives best bang for the buck. For Rs 250-350 one gets pretty accurately detailed models with :
1) Rubber tyres
2) Separate plastic lenses for head and tail lights
3) Opening doors
4) Good selection of colours (I have collected 4 colour variations of 2 models ;) )
5) Good variety of models

Only thing I hate is that all models being pull back, some need to be given unrealistic plastic suitcases (to hide the pull back motor) - which feels out of place in a sports car

Some classics from my collection. All 1:43 scale.

More gorgeousness...
Bought the day before yesterday from Hobbyco, one of Sydney, Australia's oldest Hobby Shops in Queen Victoria Building.
A highly enjoyable, though slightly expensive Hobby, this scale model collecting...

"BMW R 1200 GS"

Hi,
since a while I had been reading about motorcycles, adventure bikes, and BMW R1200GS is a bike which can leave a deep impression on anyone's mind, same here!
Moreover, I did see this bike in real, couple of them, and "boy-o-boy, watta machine it is" !
Few weeks back I ordered this scale model from HobbyToys @ Rs.600.
