Time and again I refer to this particular image and wonder how lucky you are to have in possession some of the rarest of rarest gems from the TLV stable.

Mods :- Please excuse the back to back post.

I like them?? I LOVE them. Like is an understatement probably.

I am a very late entrant into TLVs, and now wonder why I took so long.

If I may ask, do you get these from eBay or some other sources. Ebay is insanely expensive.

Instead of encouraging this hobby, such posts only degrade it. Look at models from their history, legacy point of view. That should be the biggest motivator for adding a particular model and not cost.

I buy scale models only when I can afford to buy them, that does not mean my hobby is degraded.Again definition of affordability may vary from person to person.

I have a daughter who is just 1 year old, and I plan to gift her only Scale models:D and start a separate collection for her.
Have just added a TATA ACE from centy toys in blue colour and I really love it.Shankar's post was not at all degrading in my view.

I take exception to that statement.
These sums, even now, represent quite a lot of money; to me anyway.

I totally agree with your views.
My most expensive scale model till date has been a LR Defender which was for 67 SGD, which is quite a lot of money for me.

Nice ones. Do they have rubber tyres? Also any opening parts? How do you compare them to 1/64 Greenlights - I have posted review of one, few posts back.

Thank you. They do have rubber tyres and no opening parts. GL, JL, AW etc are definitely good model car makers but the TLVs and Kyoshos provide intricate level of detailing and craftsmanship.

This one just arrived today via eBay (from China): a 1:50 scale Renault R 2087 Camion Tout Usage 4x4, 1954 model. It cost me ₹630 (including shipping via China Post).

Very cute little truck.
OT: Camion means Truck in French. Camionette can mean mini truck or van type vehicle.
:)

Thank you for that explanation about 'camion', shankar.balan. Here are a few group photos of my other camions :)

Wow, that is one nice collection. It would be a treat if you can pick each one out and post a few pics from various angles.
