I too am posting after 3 years or so. I do not know whether this section can be revived or changes can be done to bring back the mojo. Its up to mods to decide.

Posting this one picture in the loving memory of olden times ;).

Nice Lancias, are they from AutoArt? I agree, this used to be my favourite thread but ever since it got buried, interest has faded drastically. I dont think I have gotten around to uploading pictures of my collection and now is as good a time to start as any. My entire car collection (except two models) is in 1:24 scale while my bike collection is in 1:12. Let me go through my pictures and upload them in batches.

Here is the only bike I have from the Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Benelli.

Benelli TNT R160

It would be tough to argue against anyone who says this is one of Ducati's most attractive offerings.

So I am digging into my archives to pull out pictures of my entire collection and I hope to do a post a day. Some of the earlier models were photographed with an older camera and my photography skills and willingness to experiment with lights and backgrounds were limited. The differences in the two pictures below bear testament to this.

Once I am done with my bikes I will move onto the much larger car collection which has crossed the century mark.

The best in the world at what it does !

Neil,

Autoart never made any models of Lancia Stratos. The rally one is by Sunstar and the Blue wide wheel one is by Kyosho.

It is day three of my journey to rekindle interest into this long forgotten thread.

I have the R1 in three colours - Red, White and Blue. The blue one is my favourite by far. What can I say, I am an old school guy.

I really liked the snub nosed cheater ZX 6R that used its extra 36cc to win comparison tests with Japan's finest. It is just that I liked it more in Kawasaki green. I'm old school like that.

Thanks Manishalive, I love the Sunstar Classic Rally series.

Hi Guys,

Impressive collection everyone. I'm an avid collector of 1:64 Hot Wheels (About 350) and occasionally 1:18. I have a question to all Hot Wheel Collectors on this thread, where do you guys procure your collections from ?

I'm in Delhi so local shop names would be a great boon and any online site would also be helpful.

Im really trying to procure the Star Wars 5 Pack and the Batman 75 years pack.

(As me & TBHPian Rosso Corsa bought it during its initial release dates, got it at cheap price)

Hey, I know this is really really late but where do you usually procure your cars and especially the collection you have posted.

Regards

Put the Gallardo scale model I bought to some good use :P

We know you have bought the Hotwheels 50th Anniversary Ford Mustang 5 pack.

It would be really better if you post all 5 cars at once.

The Star Wars 5 pack and the Batman 75th Anniversary set of 8 won't make it to India. Nothing aside from the mainlines (regular cars on the blue color cards) makes it to India.

The FnF set was purchased from eBay and shipped to someone in US.
There are lots of 1/64 collectors in India, we have a dedicated group on Facebook - "Hotwheels India Collectors/Fans". Sadly group is limited only to Hotwheels. But the current day situation is that for 1/64 scale, aside from HW, you don't get anything else in India ! :(

Wow, impressive. please share details on where did you source these two from.

-Sajan

Can anyone tell me good shops in Hyderabad where I can get AutoArt, Welly & Bbugaro models? I've seen them on flipkart/amazon, but would like to purchase them in person due to random colors shipped and questionable packaging

Hi Sajan, glad you liked them. I ordered them from http://www.modelcarworld.de/uk/
The shipping charges and Customs Duty were rather steep, but I just had to have these models :) It took 2 weeks to deliver from Germany.
