Anybody some other address/company perhaps?

you could try it yourself if you've got the time and a good hand, here's a link i found, might try it out to modify a model.

Wandered in to Navnit Motors , BMW, Lavelle Road on Saturday.
Saw that they were preparing for the launch of the new 5.

They have some nice little scale models in their display, made by Schuco. These were of the 550i and an X3. I would happily have bought one and asked them the price.

They said they would check and let me know.
I went off to fiddle with the 1 series and the various other cars on display there and spent at least 20-25 minutes doing that.

Came back to the counter and the people there still had no clue as to the pricing at all.

I walked off, not wishing to waste any more time with these clodhopping executives.

I think that these car dealerships here in India and even in Jakarta (as per my recent experience) are short sighted and ill informed, in comparison to the kind of
first class treatment I have experienced in Europe, Dubai and other places. The sales people there are highly knowledgeable and have "passion" for their work and I appreciate that.

Here, despite the marque that they may be selling, many of the sales people are of a poor second rate quality and do not know anything at all.

You should have clicked an image of the display and emailed it to BMW India mentioning this. As per BMW guide lines, all the merchandise on display should have the Part Name, number and price in local currency mandatory.

Thanks, I've done plenty of model building, but these days I prefer to buy it all ready made. So I'll just keep on the lookout.

Search for Ady Miniatures on Facebook and send him a PM. He's the owner of Silvrkraft and will help you out.

I had a similar experience with the Mercedes Benz dealership in Mumbai. Enquired for an SLS AMG Minichamps dealer edition, I was told that it's reserved for someone and not for sale. This happened more than a year back. The model is still lying with them.

I second that, Maverick. I got my BMW i8 model from the dealership without any hassle (wouldn't have been possible without you!)

Hamleys in Phoenix City Market doesnt have new stock of the Bburago, Maisto ranges in 1:24 scale. They have added Wellys Nex series though and they have the new VW Beetles, Lambos, Audis, the odd Lexus and the Jaguar XF.

This a 1:8 scale model of a Lamborghini Aventador made out of 55 pounds of gold! How much you ask? A cool 7.5 million dollars! Pictures taken at the Dubai Motor Show 2013. (Not sure on the details on the smaller lambo)

The smaller is 1/18 scale. Based on a Bburago I reckon. I wonder why not AutoArt, but then the buyer isn't obsessed with interior details like us anyway.

Hello! Posting pics of my friends personal collection that he has displayed at his shop in Thane. He sells miniatures from Maisto/Welly,Tintin collection etc. He also collects Miniature Airplanes, Choppers, Trucks, Trains and is a treat to see them.

P.S. The collection has to be seen at night when the display cases are lit up with LED's!

Hi Sajan, he does not have an online website, can get in touch with him via phone.

Hi folks,

I am looking for a Autoart Lamborghini Gallardo Valentino Balboni Edition (1/18) preferably in Verde Ithaca/Metallic Green.

When it was available easily, I didn't purchase it and now when I want one I am unable find it...

So if anyone knows any source/ dealer/ member having the same and wanting to sell it, kindly update me...

Thanks a ton in advance..!
