Dear mods, please move it to appropriate section if it does not belong here.
I've been thinking for a very very long time whether to put it up here or not. However, finally here it is.

I had made my first scale model in 2006 and frankly it was something that I stumbled upon by chance.
Browsing through the web, I came across this concept where you could print a vehicle on paper and then cut it and make sub assemblies and finally the main assembly.

It seemed very interesting and I took it up as something that would keep me occupied for a while.

I
Model : Yamaha R1
Dimensions: 14" x 3" x 5"
Made of: A4 Paper (normal print grade)
Tools used: Canon Printer, Glue, Spoon (to make creases), Bottle Cap, Blade & Scissors

Much later after 7 years (this year) I decided to try my hands on a Mini Cooper Countryman S (Tamiya Kit). I'll post that separately with more details and a bit of tough luck that i ran into.

A fine effort indeed in my opinion.

Definitely this qualifies as a scale model.
Its' unbelievable that this model is paper made. The curves and creases are done with so much perfection. :thumbs up

Appreciate your passion and efforts. clap:

Awesome work there ! Can't even imagine the level of skill, patience and passion to do something like that with paper. clap:

This is my most prized possession. The Micheal Schumacher Ferrari F2003GA limited edition. This was after the US GP where Michael drove a brilliant race in the wet to finish 1st after starting 7th. This win more of less sealed his 6th world title. This Hot Wheels scale model is an exact replica of Schumi's car after this race - rains drops, nudges et all.

Good catch, limited editions ones are especially collectables. I simply love how an F1 car looks and every time I look at one, it makes me smile (i have 4 McLaren F1 cars and a steering wheel myself, yes yes I am a McLaren fan:D)
The rain drops & battle scars make it stand out. Is it a die-cast? What size is it? Imported?
