They are all metal, they are not available freely in India, one team bhpian wanted the 797 truck. All these I got cause I work along with the sales Guys who have these as freebys to give to customers :). If you are looking for Caterpillar Scale Models, then few models are available at our Dealer Gmmco Chennai Head Office. But they are bit costly. There is an agency dealing into CAT merchendise but requires a bulk order. |

It was a casual shot taken and uploaded within a minute. Its a normal powershot camera (Canon PowerShot S5 IS) f-stop f/3.5 exposure 1/3 ISO 100 I think I saw some CAT branded models at Starmark in Kolkata, not sure if theyare the serious scale models or just merchandise. |

Mr. Shankar, Had you not mentioned the scale, these models could easily pass of as 1:18 scale ones. For 1:43 scale, the detailing is indeed very good and so are the photographs. Camera phones also sometimes give very good results. |

thanks super ive been pretty dormant on the scale model front owing to a simple lack of availability of quality classic models. last 2 trips abroad i only managed these few cars as I have posted in the last 6-7 months. Model Art / Auto Art India has become like the great gobi desert - only fit for vultures and buzzards and suchlike - absolutely no selection available there! I ve been hunting for a nice Fiat 1100 to add to the familiar classics collection but no such luck. |
