@Ravi, The Orange will be a E92 coupe. I have the project in mind. I have the wheels and spoiler too now!

@Dippsie, Both Mondo and Motormax make them.

@Jatin, The R8 Spyder is a Kyosho. Should cost around 6K

@jatinpatel:The 1:18 Audi R8 Spyder(in the same colour as diecast's) by Kyosho is soon to become available at Automania in Mumbai for a whisker over Rs4000.

@Cyrus43:All the best for the BMW M3 Sedan. It's going to be a tough one. There's a member of DiecastXchange who managed to do a fantastic job of the BMW M3(E90).I believe he pulled it off by combining a BMW 330i Sedan and a BMW M3 Coupe, both 1 :18 Kyoshos. The end result is spectacular not least because the guy pays crazy attention to detail. He chose to paint his car blue,by the way. You've probably already checked it out but just in case you haven't,please do before you start. That fellow's also done some more custom projects, including a gorgeous blue BMW M1 road-car.
Oh and congratulations on the Skyline GTRs.I really to get an R33.Nice Subaru Impreza, too.Although, why didn't you go for the WRX STi?

Haha!! Yes, I know which car this is. These are Rainer's car. I have spoken to him about it, but my approach will be very different. And not very difficult. Also, it wont be a full fleged M3, I wont be able to replicate the vents on the side. Only the Bumpers will be M Sport. Someone makes Resin Replicas.

Dont worry, Will post a good stage by stage thing here.

Got them from the Autoart clearance sale. Autoart UK has shut down! This was sadly the last. Ebay has a few good deals sometimes!

Re: The Scale Model Thread

zibby, the 911 is a class act, just love it. And I like the details on the M6 Revell sure seems to have come a long way. I might be adding something to my collection soon.

1:24 Franklin Mint haul + 1:24 CMC

Just picked up 4 new models
  1. Mercedes Benz Model K - 1929 - from FM, I particularly love the detailing in this model, the seats, engine and finish are outstanding.
  2. Ford Thunderbird (1/1000) - 1956 - from FM, This is a limited edition model for 'Russian Island' retailer.
  3. Mercedes Benz 300 SL Roadster - 1960 - from FM
  4. Mercedes Benz 450 SL Roadster - 1973 - from CMC, this is one of the earlier CMC moulds from back when they used to make 1:24 models... it isn't their finest work (the ride height needs work) and after seeing the CMC quality on my Ulhenhaut, I am a little disappointed. It is still a decent piece, just not CMC level although it is 'Made in Germany'

Re: The Scale Model Thread

Thanks.
Revell are value for money, the detailing is way better than Maisto M6 even on the engine it say M V10 unlike maisto which reads M 6.

@RPMPKDMFF nice conv there. Like the detailing on model k.
