ah yes my friend that Ferrari Store in Regent Street. Difficult mouthwatering choices there when I went a month or two back. But as you say, murderously expensive indeed! that 250 Lusso is delicious indeed!
take a look at this 1957 Peugeot 403. 1:43 Scale.
Welly. Cream Shade with Convertible top.
Very nice car. Bought it more for the car model than anything else because it is quite rare.
cheers

And Then there was my Favourite car at Ferrari....the Mighty 250GT Lusso!!! :D will get that soon too. They are both mighty expensive though... :( |
Nice Peugeot, Shankar !
The rear somehow reminds me of our good old Fiats and Ambassadors..:D
Got the same Peugeot 403 in 1/18 by welly
yes you're absolutely bang on. also similar to those old Rovers of the 1950's, 1960's.
nice reassuring sort of shape I always thought. very "establishment" sort of cars these.

Maybe they were all designed by the same person or design Firm.
Ahem Ahem...
lovely bentley
from hamleys?
what make - I guess this must be a 1:18 given your predilection for that scale?

Here is my son’s garage:
Volkswagen Beetle (first car – very close to my heart – gifted by wifey)
Ferrari F50 (courtesy Shell petroleum)
Jeep compass
Skoda Yeti - Not officially launched in India, but my son has Yeti in his garage
And the latest buy is Hummer H2 (2003)
Except Ferrari F50 all are metal body model, in the scale of 1:30 to 1:50
Sorry for bad quality snaps (taken from cell phone camera)
my little cell camera is a pretty good one - carl zeiss lens and 5MP - i guess thats why the picture looks like a larger scale than it actually is.
but your silver beetle is a nice one too - I guess a red one or blue one might have brightened it up a bit but silver is a nice shade too.
cheers
[quote=benbsb29;2101389]Shankar, nice Peugeot. Hard to believe thats in 1:43 scale.
Meanwhile, here are some pics of my Beetle Cabriolet. I would have preferred a better color, but couldnt find one in any other color. Scale is 1:24.

Lovely Beetle, I had the similar one in yellow by Maisto (made in Italy), very good quality (being Italian made) (apart from that made in Thiland were also having good quality).
Repainted the car Black and red, now the beetle is no more with me.
