Are you ordering from India, the add heavy postage also to the cost. You will get An 1:18 Scale Maisto make in India too.

And if you are in the States, then why restrict :D.

Thank you for your opinions.

Manish, i am in State, so no shipping, no tax. A 1:18 scale model goes for $50 while a 1:24 scale model is $22.

That's why i was wondering if it makes sense to get only the scale model or a RC.

Yep for Sure.

Anybody know where I can get Sunstar Toys in China, they will be cheap there. I had an interesting Discovery

This is the route master Bus by Sunstar available in UK for GPB 189.99

1955 AEC Regent RT36 - FXT211, H2922

The same bus is available in US Price is USD 185.

Sun Star - Routemaster Bus - RT36 - FXT 211 (1955, 1:24, Green) 2922 - Toy Wonders, Inc.

GPB 189.99 = 13,412.91 INR

USD 185 = 8,245.91 INR as per todays conversion.

Same product but huge difference in Price. Recently I have bought 1:12 Morris Traveller for the UK website for GBP 111.99, I am wondering how much I have paid more.

Since the shipping charges to Chennai were ridiculously high, I asked my friend in Belgium to get it for me. And the car has arrived at his house.

I have the 2004 Michael Schumacher one by Hot Wheels. Had bought the same for 65 USD.

I am a HARDCORE Automobile Brochure / Catalog collector from the past 10 years.

Of late the scale model bug has bitten me and here is my collection.

^^Nice collection, eagle. What make and scale is that LP640? The best part about it is that it lacks that unnecessary black frame around the headlights which scale makers have added as their own whim.

Buddy all the models are made by MAISTO.

All the cars are of 1:24 scale except for Hummer which is 1:27, the bikes are 1:12 scale except the M1 which is 1:10 scale.

my new model....guess the car.:)

Honden HSV? :D

Talking about Sunstar, here's the 1:24 - 1958 Routemaster Bus RMC1453 from Sunstar. The 715 from Greenline served the Hertford Route in 1958. The coach is nicely detailed and a limited edition from Sunstar. At 1:24, its pretty huge and weights heavy. The last pic is along-side the 1:18 - 1960 Chrysler 300F.
