Wohooo... lovely lovely!!! I looooooove black cars....

As for the kid u snatched it from, gud he didn't get his hands on this one... I hate seeing kids treating scale models with disdain!! There'r tons of cheapo chinese toys in the market for that...

Rahul14: Check out scale18.com, and project118.com. Project 118 is my favourite. Their crafts section is mindblowing. You wont believe the kind of mods some people do on their scale models. Anyway you will enjoy those forums. Oh and by the way, just look carefully if there are any screws of instruction stickers on the undercarriage of the car. My AA Impreza WRX had its bootlid screwed shut. There was a tiny strip saying unscrew for boot to release and even tinier screw. I havnt yet bought small screwdrivers so never opened the boot. You might find something like that on the DBR9.

Hey Beemer thanks for that..I found some really tiny screws, very hard to open, but I think that should be it. Project118 looks interesting, and yeah crazy mods! Have you done any extensive mods yourself?

Hey Rahul, try and research a bit on the DBR9 before you start unscrewing it :) I dont want to be the cause of your car coming apart and you not knowing how to put it together. Im sure the hood should open. I havnt done extensive mods. Ive started experimenting with switching wheels around on my Maistos. Not touching the AAs or Kyoshos. But even Miastos can be very fragile, Ive managed to break certain bits. So need to stick them together and fix all that. Not had the time. Maybe this weekend Ill buy a new screw driver set and a superglue. But yeah careful with your baby. Project118 should have threads on the DBR9. Check before unscrewing.

Haha dont worry about that, its too precious to me to do anything risky! Yea maisto's wheels are easily removable although Id never think of modifying any other make...not worth the risk

Any luck with opening the Aston yet Rahul? Guess autoart has a gem hidden under that hood.

Guys, I really want that Aston badly. Any idea where to get it in Pune? And about the cost?

blackadder: No luck at all...Ive tried almost everything and as you can imagine Im too scared of trying anything risky! The boot is definitely sealed but Im still trying the bonnet.

torqueunlimited: I personally have never seen the Aston in a shop, and I doubt the shop on MG road has it in stock. Its available on most online model car sites. I picked mine up from collectablediecast.com for around $77 including shipping to USA, although shipping to Pune I expect would increase the cost considerably.

I guess I searched every auction of the Aston on Ebay and there are no pics of the engine at all. I guess it is really shut tight and there will be no engine in it at all. What a terrible shame. The worst thing is that Autoart has cheated its customers by giving them a half baked model car. Shame!!! :Frustrati:mad::eek:

Hey guys, watch these cool radio-controlled 1:18 scale cars drift around the "Race Car Infinity" track in Singapore.

There's Mazda RX-7, Subaru WRX, Toyota Sprinter Trueno, etc..

It's empty tonight and i'm all alone
