No, I believe the hood does not open. This is a 1:32 isnt it?

The Sapphire toy store near Lifestyle, has got some new models, 2009 Nissan GTR, BMX X5 , Alfa 8c and a MERC Cls. Was planning for the X5.
While near Safina Palza ,there is a shop calle Modelcraft, they had a 1:24 Back to the Future III (rs 775) if anyone is interested.

Here are some models I bought as a Kid in Early 90's.Hot Wheels VW Camper and Welly Golf.Camper was bought for 50 bucks, paid the whole amount in one's and fifty paisa coins :D.Some Welly's and French Majorette Clio along with a Hot Wheels Jeep..
