Nice Pajero. This seems to be the Jap version, RHD with the extra side view mirror.

they are 1:32 kinsmart models.

My god! I completely forgot about MILTON!!
What a lovely set of snaps of those old toys - I also had a Double Decker, a fire Engine and a Shell Oil Tanker (before Mr George Fernandes chucked out all the international companies from here in the '70's)
Also MAXWELL - I remember their Amby's and Fiats which I used to make my Grand-dad buy me from India's Hobby Centre in Park Street Calcutta.
Also the earlier Matchbox Diecast - Made in England Lesney Toys cars which we used to pick up in Newmarket in Cal other than the ones that were brought from abroad of course.
India's Hobby Centre in Madras Mount Road also deserves a mention here as also a little shop called Toyland in Coimbatore!

Milton toys brings back a flood of memories. They were the only manufacturer of scale models in India in those days, and boy, for us kids back then they were real rockstas !

Milton had mostly foreign models in their line up. Then came Maxwell, with the Premier and Amby models, and they were an instant success - every boy in the neighbourhood hankered for a Maxwell !
I have a large collection of old Miltons, which need restoration. Time permitting, and with TBHPians' help, I'll start soon. :)
Meanwhile, check these out:
The "Mobilgas" tanker was bought before I was born. It's at least Forty years old, in mint condition.
The "Routemaster" bus dates back to 1974. will be restored soon.
And in between, is a sneak pic of the Premier President (Taxi version). She too is in very bad shape. I intend painting her in the original "Natina Blue" sometime soon !!

Thanks Shankar ! Matchbox and Milton have a special place in my heart, I still have loads of them in the attic.
Glad they're getting the admiration they deserve :), will post more of them soon.
Meanwhile, here's my DAF car transporter. Matchbox, made in England, by Lesney. Dates back to 1972.
Unfortunately I haven't found my 'period' matchbox cars to fill it up, so I've used newer models !

Wow that pajero really looks awesome true to life.Autoart has done a real good job on the detailing for example look at the wood finish look alike on the dash .Real good.Looks neatly finished too.
The plastics used for headlights also look good.

Around the tender age of 2-6 I succeeded quite brilliantly at investigating the innards of each and every single toy car that I had by taking them apart in a somewhat crude surgical manner. Other than of course, the ones that I merrily donated to friends etc.
Pity, because it is only now that I realize the value of what I literally threw away (like the Red Indian in the poem, who cast away a pearl richer than all his tribe.)
But one can take solace from the fact that there seems to be a huge sort of revivalist movement on the scale model front in the last few years - all those old brands seem to be getting resurrected - vanguard, minichamps,solido, matchbox etc etc etc. I for one am happy at that!:)

Nice Caravan ! Sliding doors look neat. Hey 1:25 is a scale one never really gets to see.

I too have a matchbox caravan, Matchbox Motor Home from 2008 series.
