Hey DCS ... Loved your small little story.
@ traveloholic Nice photography there.. May be you should add a white chart paper to your setup. The Black one somehow give away.

That is because the Black Reflects Light whilst the White Absorbs excess light

Yup Shankar, those are of Matchbox make. Its a 1961 Jaguar E-Type Coupe made by Matchbox. Try out Big Bazaar, heard they have stocked up loads of Matchbox Scaled Models in their Toys Section.

@sinner & @Cyrus43, Thanks for the inputs on lighting. Shall try out using white sheet the next time. Would love to experiment some more on the lighting techniques.

Great shots there traveloholic. I liked all the pictures, however some of them have lot of noise ( didnt you bump up the ISO?:D)

I absolutely loved the Mahindra Jeep pictures and first 2 pictures of H2 ( mind blowing):)

Friends, I would like to get scale models for all models of Honda(good quality ones). Which is the best way/place to source them? Any pointers in this direction will be appreciated. Thanks.

Yup, I had to bump up the ISO a bit due to low light conditions. Thought of handling it in the post processing session uusing Noise Reduction Tool. However, I let it stay as is as I had to run each and every file through the NR Tool. Shall remember the next time :Cheering:

According to light principle isn't it other way around? Black absorbs and white reflect?

Nice shots traveloholic.

Anuj, Thanks. What you've mentioned is true, this is the light principle White reflects and Black absorbs light. I am still wondering what do I do inorder to make the lighting proper for these type of snaps.

I picked up a fuddly looking Ford Ikon model yesterday. It looks real horrible, and the only reason why i picked it up was because it was an Ikon. :D

Will try out some mods to get it in decent shape.
