@Dippy, don't you have the door opener, I'm sure some of your models must have come with it... since you have a plethora of AutoArts & the like. Infact, I got one with the Chinese model of my Epica :), another with my Pullman & Type 41 Royale. They really come in handy.

Really? I had no idea at all. Can you post a pic of what it looks like? I didnt see anything in my Autoart boxes. :)

Sorry for not going through the site properly.
there is every info we want to know.

..:: Modelartindia.com ::..

well their website is not updated regularly and the best would be to call them and have their current stock list over mail. I did used to get them earlier.

[quote=amit V8;1516922]well that shop is the only one which stores autoart models in kolkata and i got my 1:18 chevelle at less than half the price from there only. keep your eyes open there are a lot of cool cars lying here and there.

Ya some times you can get real lucky, Landmark in Spencer Plaza Chennai would give super cool 1:18 cars with battered boxes at 50% discount :). Got my 722 mercedes @ 650 bucks (cover price of 1395). I regrett moving out of that city. Here is the picture of her.

I got back home and took a few pictures of some of the tools. All of them are the same design, one narrow tip to open the bonnet/boot, and a . I got one each with the MB600 Pullman(AutoArt), Bugatti Type 41 Royale(Minichamps Bauer) & Chevy Epica(GM China). Additionally, I got a pair of tweezers with the Royale & a small unlocker for the hydraulic jacks on my Nissan R89C. The unlocker can be seen in the first picture, just in front of the tire. The last picture shows the tool used to remove the lugnuts for the R89C, so that the wheels may be removed.

Me too:D use that method. But it does not work for this one.I will "oil my own machine":uncontrol tomorrow-hope it will make the hinge a bit easy.

Dont use oil. You might damage or stain the paint.

Has anyone tried applying Formula One wax on the scale models? - works great :) (i have waxed the M5, GTR, Mustang, Panda & Challenger)

I usually let the doors and hood live in peace.

I am planning to buy one of the following (1:24):

1. Nissan R35 GTR (White/Silver)
2. F430 (Red)

which one should i pick?

I've been using MIN cream on all my models after Dippy reccomended it and it works great!!

The GT-R is a very common model so I'd probably say get the F430. Then again I like the GT-R a lot more than the F430 so its a tough call.

Is 1:24 the scale you collect in? If not 1:18 I'd suggest you collect 1:43. There are so many cars out there in 1:43 and storage becomes really easy once you get obsessive like I have.
