@Cyrus Swapmeet auction is popular in UK.Thats a good one.I have only one diecast relating to my profession, thats also not purchased,a small about 4" Merc Ambulance, bearing UNICEF logo,it was a delegate gift in a convention...Cyrus,your car probably gave me one theme of collection...

Yes Cyrus, you probably remember my bad experience with Ebay.in ,one guy threatened me over phone, now,I have made a new id and gave a number which bearing sim is hardly ever in any Mobile.(sorry Dippy, offtopic).

And they have only two or three diecast sellers...who sells a few 1:24 models, rarely 1:18 models.

Christine - The Nightmare Come Alive

Finally after a 10 year wait and hunt i managed to lay my hands on the 1958 Plymouth Fury in wine red and offwhite 2 tone paint scheme...

The scary car actually has working headlamps - (LED's) which glow and create the necessary effect shown in the movie when the car COMES @ you to get you !!!

This is a 1:18 ERTL bought it from the web and asked a friend to get it to india.

And if you want to buy Just Autoart,as it is Autoart,I will point you to Ebay.com auctions. You can can get at even as low as 5$.Get 3-4 such bargain, the postal charge will not bug you (Around Rs.2000).S0,your total cost is 5$x4x50=Rs.10,000+2,000=Rs.12,000 So,each model @ Rs.3000.00 .which will cost you a hell if you want to buy one from regular shop.Diecast collectors generally buys from auction in UK and USA unless they are multimillioners.
I am not trying to argue like a "dad",but,Just writing here what I have seen or seeing...
Good information, will keep this in mind.

@praveen_sathaye - Great collection. I have already had a desire to collect film cars in 1:18 scale, with top contenders on the list being The Orange Dodge Charger from Dukes of Hazzard, and the 1940 Cadillac Fleetwood from Godfather. How many more film cars do you have?

Posting these pics on behalf of Anirban (1100D)...

Sometime back 1100D's daughter (Merc) had a lovely time sitting on the bonnet of 1100D's Mercedes Benz E320:

Is shipping safe to India? I know I might be acting stupid, but have seen an incident where in I did not receive the item and the seller asks me to find out at the Indian customs. Go know how

Infractions: 0/1 (5)

i am looking for a 1:24 scale or 1:43 or in between these, of the Jaguar XK 120, the Jaguar E Type, the Jaguar S type, the XJS and the Jaguar MK II.
Auto Art had a great bunch of 1:43 Jags which I picked up like a shot. I love their quality and would be happy to buy them if they have the above mentioned.
Would also love a Scale model of the Jag SS100 and of course the Land Rover Series 1, Series 2, Series 3 etc.
any ideas guys?
Signature Models are just ok - they arent all that great though they seem amongst the few chaps who are doing vintage vehicle scale models.

Praveen, both Christine and the interceptor are kickass stuff. i absolutely loved them. Can you tell me where you bought them from?

Btw, i was filling up at the Shell petrol pump and guess what i saw. There is an F1, an Enzo and a F50 as well but they havent got them yet. So i picked up the F430, the 360 spyder and the 575 SuperAmerica. For a 100 bux each, they look pretty good. 1/34 scale, made by hotwheels.
