Could you please show some close up shots of the bracket. I did a scissor door setup on an S 500 a few years ago too. Maybe we can share ideas and improve on em.

I was cleaning my 1:18 display unit and decided to take a few pictures of the collection :). These are all the 1:18 four wheelers in my collection.

You are the richest man in the world :) Awesome collection

sure ill post some pictures...but im not much into modifying scale models..this particular scale model was bought by my friend but unfortunately he couldn't take proper care of it..so he gave it to me in a very bad condition and i just modified it to kill time

Hi Hanmust, thanks. The 1950s German trucks are really nicely designed, so I decided to look beyond Mercedes to Buessing, Magirus-Deutz, Kruepp etc. I buy my models from a shop in Singapore. They frequently have discounts, including up to 50 per cent off sticker price!
And thanks, all, for appreciating my collection (I haven't quite got the hang of multi-quoting yet).
Now here is a Schuco 1:87 scale Mercedes-Benz bus (Deutsche Bahn):

And after seeing Dussey's beautiful Karmann, I just have to post my own Karmann Cabriolet:

flotsam, Thats a lovely Merc bus and a beautiful Karmann cabriolet. :thumbs up

I love the Tijuana Taxi, the design is amazing. TD is a fine designer. The only problem I have with the TD Diecasts are the fact that most of the body work is not 'diecast'... the chassis is, but the body is plastic, otherwise the designs are amazing.

Will get some pictures up of the display unit. I had posted some up a long time ago.

Thanks Dussey.
And RPMPKDMFF, that's a superb collection you have there! Looking forward to individual close-up shots of each one of them when you have the time.

RPMPKDMFF, your collection has left me stunned ! BTW what's the size of your display cabinet ? Must be Huuuge !! :)

That is a Shattering Collection. A few Uber Cool Cars there!!
