Dippy, been a while since you posted your collection. Better pics are definitely needed.

Aiyo Dippy, the collection looks most interesting. More and better pictures please !

Dippsie, Can we have your Skyline and My Supra Together for a photoshoot once?

I have two sets of VW Jetta scale models in two different scales. The small black ones are Wiking. Guess the scale? These are tiny 1:87 models but the level of detailing is impressive. The badges including the TDi on the boot are readable with a magnifying lens. The silver one must be the same as Cyrus's and is a 1:43 by Schuco. It has tiltable wheels but steering is fixed. Some of the lines are not perfectly aligned either. Compared to the 1:87 this one feels less detailed for its size.

Impressed by the photography skills of many a t-bhpians, I thought I would try my luck with the camera. To add some drama, I decided to have the most detailed model of the car, a 1:1 model made by VW itself, as the background. Hope you liked it... Please comment

I like the black ones . They look really good. The silver is the same we got at the Jetta launnch in Mumbai but these tiny ones seem to be way better than the 1:43.

Nice way of taking the photos. Liked the car as well.

For some read about the car, you can visit:

One interesting fact about the car: It has a sequential six-speed transmission which with interruption of engine power enables the driver to shift up under full throttle without disengaging the clutch.

hey jessie.. thanks for the info. but you have missed out on the more important/crucial scale model info. what make is it? scale? where did you buy it? the model has really great detailing. congratulations:).

Nice pics vivek...
Ahhh...Dippy your collection..someday i will rob your place..:D

@nma83 - I love that Green Jag of yours and the Aston V8 Vantage

Please tell me where you got those!

Later this evening or tomorrow I will add a couple more of my recent acquisitions - including an old 1934 Aston Martin scale model.

Cheers

SB
