The Murcielago is an Autoart no doubt. AA had come up with the Murci Barchetta Concept.
@Cyrus, about that Merc owned by some BHPian :D. I would love to know who that person is.
What if the unwanted part of the axles both front and behind are simply chopped off and a hole is drilled through the underbody to make way for a simple axle?
I feel that THIS IS the drag special look. The stock front wheels can be blackened. All it needs is a wheelie bar and a wing too. LOL!
The wheels can be chrome painted with a matte black body.
Firstly, I am out of Paint. Secondly, there is no place to drill a hole and pass the axle through it.

I have a lot of queries:
1)
Do these cars have real scale engines and do the engines fire up and propel the car ?
How to fill in fuel for these cars ?
Are the running petrol/Diesel engines controlled by remote control ?
2)
Or, Do they pack a small electric motor inside the engine ?
3)
Are all the electrical working including the lights etc ?
4)
If the cars have working engines, axles, etc. then are the parts available ? How frequently is the wear of tires and other parts ?

Are all the cars or those with electrical motors remote controlled ?
One can roughly make two broad categories:
1) Model Cars: Usually made up of diecast metal with some plastic components. They are replicas of real cars with no working components apart from steering wheel, suspension and openable doors, hood, boot etc. They are meant to be kept for display on a shelf and not meant to be 'played' around with. By model cars, I am referring to higher end of the spectrum, not about cheap plastic ones you get off the shelf.
2) R/C Cars: Radio-controlled cars are usually made up of plastic. The priority is given to the fun-factor of driving these cars rather than outright accuracy in detailing. They run on electric motors (mostly) or sometimes on fossil-fuels.

None of the diecast metal cars available have real scale engines. All you get is a visual replica of what is visible under the hood of a real car. Quote:

That is true in terms of radio-controlled (R/C) cars. But they have a standard electric DC motor which is in no way mechanically similar to the real deal. There are R/C cars which run on petrol. You'll find many videos on youtube.

Varies from model to model. Most brands like AutoArt, Kyosho, Maisto etc. don't carry these features. There are exceptions though like Xtuners etc. Quote:

The wear and tear depends on how rashly you use it. I cannot vouch for repairability of these R/C cars. There are no authorised people to repair them. Many cars carry an extra set of tyres as standard. Quote:

Yes, all are remote controlled. Mostly radio-controlled.

Anywyas, Salil. About the MErc, i seperated the body and chassis to see if i could get the wheel mount out. there is no way to do so. Also, the chassis isnt going back into the mountings. Is there a trick involved??
Well Sunday was a lucky day as I got my hands on this! It was lying in the midst of some toys and was marked down to $20!!
Its a Hot wheels Elite model 1/18 scale.

mine looks very similar and quality of detailing is also pretty similar to your jeep.
however, since it has those little figures of sarge and beetle bailey etc and thats probably why it looks toy-ish - but I m keeping those dolls inside because I always enjoyed the beetle bailey comics as a kid.

What the !$#%$#.. This is the EDO FXX. This retails for somewher close to 45$ Man you are lucky to have gotten this!! Enjoy this beauty.
