That is a real neat model of KITT Dippy... I remember seeing it before... anyways, it is worth viewing again

1:18 Highway 61 - Hudson Hornet (Cream)

Without the roof, rear seat center console down (note the two holes where the roof folded/unfolded attaches)

Wooden finish dash... the glove compartment doesn't open... (the Highway 61 Dodge Challenger 1970 model that I own has an operatable glove box)
The front seat in normal driving position
Front seats moved forward and seat back folded forward, for the rear passengers to enter and exit... the front seat is a bench seat like all old American cars, so it moves forward as one piece, but the seat backs are split and fold individually...
The boot, alongwith the spare wheel...
I found the hood hinges done well...

The car with the soft-top drawn into position. Folded down piece also visible... (there is no place in the car to store it)

That is some mind boggling detail!
And I thought Kyosho's were as good as they get!
RPM: Undoubtely one of the best models I've seen so far. The detailing is awesome. How much does one of these set you back by? What other cars are available?

Thanks guys. The Hudson is from Highway 61 and it cost me AED375, I feel it was worth every penny.
The day I picked up the Hudson, I also saw a 1970 Dodge Dart, 1970 Plymouth Cuda, HUMMER H2 and a 1957 Oldsmobile Super 88 from Highway 61. The store has stock varying Maisto to CMC.
There are two guys who manage the store, one Indian and the other a Filipino... now I can only confirm this by word of mouth of the Indian saleman... it seems the CMC MERCEDES-BENZ RACING CAR TRANSPORTER, 1954... which was in the shop on my previous visit was a special order for none other than Mamooty... don't know if it is the truth though... just heresay.

Incredible! Unbelievable! This is what I call detailing. This is a true scale model, because it actually looks like a compressed version of the real deal.

Fuel tank filler cap... the Hudson is also attached... I had missed this bit in my earlier photo session...
Undercarriage of the Challenger... this also features a workable driveshaft... also has some wiring on the underbody.
