I don't understand this holier-than-thou attitude. What is the stigma associated with supplements? Even if I were using AAS, I wouldn't let anyone get in my face with that attitude. I am a vain person, just like the one in front of me. If I find it O.K. to play dice on my body and place myself in a win-some-lose-some position, its MY effin choice! Its a free country !

and Protein powders DO make life easier. What with the reduced emmissions an' all!

Sorry if I sounded that bad !
For everything, humanity has 2 opinions. Thats life ! Some will say WHEY is not required, WHEY is expensive, WHEY can be replaced with many other things etc. When it comes to flavours, some will say vanilla is good, no no strawberry is good, no no double rich chocolate is good etc. You know what I mean. So, there is always two sides of a coin given to everyone. End justifies the means !

I believe what works for you is something only you can decide. You like supplements, you can afford them, they work for you then go for them and forget what people says. Like i said earlier also almost 99% people take it,some acknowledge and some not.
Heck i see 40-50 year old fat uncle ji's in my gym taking fat burners to reduce their evergrowing belly.

@Tarun- Which gym are you going currently?

There is no stigma as such, but a holier than thou attitude certainly exisits. It is simply an outlet for envy. "the only reason he has a good body is because of supplements" syndrome.

Errr. Actually fat burners can reduce abdominal fat. See, if the body has stored a lot of fat in the abdominal area, that's where the fat burners will work. Your uncles will have a low metabolic rate, partly due to age. The fat burner will boost their metabolism, resulting in loss of fat, all other things remaining the same, so they aren't very wrong in thinking that.

I love to hear that. I am not far from those 'Uncles' ! Couple of years, I will be classified as one of them. Belly fat is the last one to 'come to discipline' I think. I really wish one of those "magical belts" seen on sky shopping or similar shows worked.

Deadlifts and Squats rule!
Hyperextensions are useful.

1. Other than Hyperextensions, as mentioned by Test-1, you could also try back extensions (lie on the floor on your stomach and raise your chest off the ground; to make this more challenging, you can lift both your legs off the ground at the same time)

2. Good Mornings.
