Hi,

Any solutions.

Hey Viper,

You dont have to convert midi into any other format.
Just copy midi files from pc to mmc via mmc reader.

Cheers,
Mugen_Power.

I do not know about how midi works with nokia phones since I am a avid Treo 650 user.

But I do know that Google turns up no satisfactory solutions for converting midi to mp3. Have downloaded several and tried them, including audacity, but to no avail.

Am still looking for solutions to convert midi to mp3.

midi is the most efficient format because it only contains the instrumental script, not the sound itself.

and most nokia phones play the midi files, i don't see why would you want to convert them to mp3 or anything else.

you wud play them as you play any mp3. just copy them as a file, thru bluetooth or whatever is avialable in ur phone.

Viper yaar MIDI tones are ancient now ... just make ur own MP3 tones, its very easy. Then If u have a bluetooth dongle transfering files becomes just a click and go sort of thing.

6630 has native mp3 support sploit it mannnnn. U can even have Video tones where u get a Animated or a propah video playing when someone calls. A separate software is needed for this though, lemme know if u want it
