Every morning I come to work and open this thread hoping that SAM will reply back saying that this was just a joke. I did not post here till now because I just cannot still believe this has happened.

I did not know SAM personally, but the way he has thought us how to live is something exceptional. No other person has made me laugh and influenced me so much. Miss you SAM :( R.I.P.

Very Very sad to hear this. I have been on Team BHP since 2006 and I used to follow Sam's posts in virtually every thread. I always admired him because of his helping attitude and honest advice. Every time a newbie posted a question, Sam would reply with same enthusiasm and simplicity. I also met him briefly in auto-expo this year in January. Upon learning that I'm a BHPian, Sam really opened the doors, got me into the JBL stall, and extended the best hospitality that he could in the crowded and busy expo... Sigh!

What a paradox that I'd search different threads in ICE section to read his posts, and I learnt about his demise on a thread started by me (about concrete roads)!

Very Very sad and my heartfelt condolences to his family. :'(
