I have not met Sam, but I have enjoyed reading many of his posts and the discussions that followed. To think that a guy with so much experience and skill in driving could go away in such a tragic way makes me feel terrible.

Really terrible news! I didn't knew him personally but had many common friends. I talked to him many times at JBL stand at APS Mumbai.

The feeling of loosing a dear friend is very saddening, even though, like many others, I have never met him personally. I had a couple of interactions on the forum / PMs but never met him in person.

But, I always felt I knew him for ages.

Only recently, I had thoroughly enjoyed his Land Rover Disco thread and how he acquired it, his arguments and Hindi exchanges with Akbar and had hearty laugh.

And today, the LR story ends abruptly.

May you RIP Sam. We will miss you, ALWAYS.
