Sam.. the man who showed us, how to live life & enjoy that to the fullest.
You will be missed.
RIP Sam, I'm sure God wanted you up there so badly.

Most who know me would know that I am devastated. I did not want to start this thread. I even opened my ipad to do so (on TBHP and Facebook) then shut it out of respect for Sam. It is too frivilous news to be spread over Facebook so I started calling. Many audio nuts did not pick up thinking "Navin's got another mad idea he wants to bounce of us" so I sent an SMS and they called back.

Due to family obligations (I was taking my mom to the doc when I got the news) I cant go and that makes me feel only more upset.

The Indian audio community has lost a giant (no pun intended). Needless to say, the whole mumbai audio scene is in shock. Sam was an oversized personality.

I dont know where to start describing Sam the man. For one he was far more mature for his age. His humor hid a gentle vulnerability that few saw. Children loved him instantaeouslty and kids have fantastic instinct and he loved kids. Right now I cant even type clearly. My brain is frozen, my eyes have fogged up.

I guess Billy Joel was right. Only the good die young. RIP Sam. I will always love you. Say hi to Sidney.

Terrible news indeed! Never knew him personally, but like a lit of us here..just knew him through his threads.

Can't believe this is happening! His blogs were amazing. His travelogues have inspired me so much. I have never had the chance to meet Sam and yet I feel the pain of this terrible loss.

My deepest condolences to Jenny. Hope she recovers from this terrible loss!
