How did you come up with your username?

Tharian is actually my last name. It's quite rare and I knew it wouldn't be taken and saved me the trouble of thinking for a pseudo name.
After joining Tbhp,many thought I owned or like the Mahindra Thar

No quirks in my name, it's my full name.
Reason? I believe in having everything uniform, so everywhere my name stays the same. I get my username as soon as there is a platform and I know I'd want to use it!

A friend of mine hence, helped me find a different name Especially for T-BHP ��.

I have been using the same username at every website and game for a long time though I don't have any idea how I came up with this name. I am not a fan of Batman but I'm sure in my younger days I thought the movie "Batman Begins" sounded cool and I mixed it with my name.

I have been an avid reader of team-bhp for more than a decade now. One thing that fascinates me is user names here in team-bhp, I always wonder how many of the BHPians arrived at the handle they possess.

This thread definitely throws light on this aspect, couldn't read all the posts on the topic but would love to see this thread getting updated very often. I must say that many of the BHPians and Moderators have exciting handle, it reflects their passion for the very reason we are here!

I chose Motor_Nut simply because driving a vehicle gives me immense pleasure, I drive 10 hours straight but still feel like to drive more even though I have arrived at my destination in an exhausted state.

I love to open engine bay often and inspect things for no apparent reason. While driving a car, I have an itch for a better car entertainment system, otherwise I am happy watching stock TV with kiddos. I keep a close watch on new car launches, reviews, accessories etc. even though I may not have immediate plan to buy these.

And list goes on, hence my handle Motor_Nut !

My handle is my name with my date of birth (minus the year).
I was more concentrating on answering other questions rather than thinking of a fancy user name.
Would have loved if I could have taken OptimusPrime or GoldenMonkey or SilverMonkey.

I came up with mine as I was watching and reading a lot of Sherlock Holmes stuff back then. It's specifically taken from S01E01 of BBC Sherlock.
Although I wish I could change it now.

My username is my nickname. It was mispronouced by most and I felt that a beautiful name like this, which my father lovingly gave me, is not getting what it deserves. So I made it my UID on all the forums I am on.

Basis the car which I owned till that point in my life, 2000rpm was the range when the engines used to come alive (thanks to the petrol civic with horrible low end grunt). Really really silly name in retrospection!
