Are there any NFS 5 (Porsche Unleashed) fans out there!

I haven't played Underground much so i don't know how good those times are. But the drag time of 20secs is very good coz off the 5 tries i did on the stock RX7, i got a time of 30.74 with 100% perfect shifts.

How in the world did you manage a 52 sec drift?

that's just awesome.

Hey GTO thanks for that patch, its working now!

Anyway, the first time I did Drift for more than 40 seconds, I thought I got lucky, but then slowly I mastered it, and now I can manage good scores in almost every drift track. (Drift and Drag I like the most in NFSU, after finishing the game, thats all that'll interest you, unlike NFS:PU)

Anyway, I asked my bro to mail me his profile, after the game (NFS:PU) started working. Coz otherwise I would've had to play Factory Driver, etc etc to unlock all the cars and tracks. After I recieved, I played MonteCarlo 1, and I could get to 1:02.18 (the screenshots, below)

I did it with the 95 - 911 Turbo.
(the heat is on?? )

Well push the 'Print Screen' Button on your keyboard, should be right besides the F12 key. Then exit from the game, open mspaint and paste. Photoshop works too.

i think the nfs undersground is a better one. used to play thins on my xbox at home. but my laptop is too slow to handle this high end graphics of this one!

Well my NFS:PU wasnt working in Windows XP (this was a common problem to a lot of guys), So I had stopped playing it since 2 years. But I always carry the game sprindle with my laptop where ever I go. And I had NFS:PU with me, when this thread started, I really wanted to play the game again. And I knew there is some patch available online thru which the game can start even in XP. So I asked if anyone had a link, and GTO did. I downloaded that patch (porsche.exe file) and replaced it with the original exe file in it). And I started working..

But I hate playing the game with keyboard, I am used to gamepads..

Hey any one of you played Motor City Online by (EA's BlackBox : Creators of NFSU?).
I think the only game dedicated to HotRods and Muscles from the US. It was only playable online, you cant start the game without an internet connection. But was way better than NFS Porsche or NFSU. Graphics and gameplay were much better than Porsche Unleashed..
By the way, in NFS Porsche what ur best time in Autobahn? I remember I managed to do it under 2 mins with a manual transmission. I guess I still have the replay saved somewhere..

Wow, under 2 mins at Autobahn, I remember the fastest I could do was 2:11 (something), My brothers best time was 2:05 (something). But Shaving of 11 seconds from my best time, my god, thats fast..
I did it with Auto Transmission, and my bro did it with a Manual.
Anyway, I think NFS5 servers are down online, so we'll have to do a LAN Party or something, though one of my close friend owns a LAN Gaming Center at King Circle, Bombay. It would be great for us NFS Gamers to gather there 1s and compete.. What say??

Never tried LAN racing before, should be a lot of fun. We can call it the "Le Lans" racing or maybe the "Isle of Lan" challenge. haha

BTW just smashed my lap record of 1min 1.70sec on the MC1 track. The new record stands at 58.00secs!!! Hoping to break it by tom.

Dude i tried the print screen stunt but didnt work. Where does the clip get saved?

That sub 2 min time for the Autobahn is really staggering!!! The best i've got is 2min 13secs with a normal GT1 in auto mode.

What car did you use for that record dude?I'm sure it was the Porsche 911 (I'm gonna kick your A**) version. lol

Must have been totally s'uped up coz i know the stock GT1 atleast, can't manage such times.

You guys live in Bbay right? If so, then the heat is on folks. Let me know as to when you guys plan to have the teambhp NFS-5 meet, coz "We feel the Need...........the "Need For Speed""

hey nfs5 freak here!! its the only nfs game i really like,man its so real and the dynamics and handling of the cars and sound is so unmistakably life like if u wanna play some quality game nfs porsche unleashed is the game to play!!my autobahn time is 1.59.30 with a modified 2000 porsche 911 turbo which hits a top whack of more than 400 km/h
