Team-BHP
(

Today morning around 8:15 am spotted a brown well maintained Bolero with the redlining sticker on the boot, at Goregaon link road.
You saw my car too but by the time I gave a thumbs up your eyes were back on the road.
Followed this lancer till gr tech park, starting kadugodi flyover.I was in my brown duster, right behind you.
Horn lights, no ack.
Do people just put these stickers for show and forget?

I have team bhp stickers and would love to wave out to a fellow bhpian.(have done quite a few times )
But if someone is honking ,flashing lights on and on to get my attention that would kinda annoy me.
I am sure few/many of us even share rides with our wife/parents ,they dont know the person honking/flashing lights behind them is a t-bhpian
Hope you get the drift:) Happy Spotting !
p.s:- Thats not me in the lancer
Looks like no one was able to spot my car in the last 8k kms cross country :D
But I happen to spot a sticker on this Swift 25th Aug @ 8:25am between Thane and Valsad.

few days back did a spoting.
where: near Reliance Fresh store, Mira Road.

Dear Mate, it happens, Team Bhp is a craze among the motorists and easiest way to connect to it is to buy stickers set. More so, when we give signals on sighting a member bhpian/guest bhpian their way of acknowleding may differ. But on the whole, it all shows the popularity of this forum. Cheers to that. By the way which tbhp sticker it has?
thanks

Spotted a DL 8C registered white Honda City with LTD sticker in the campus of GGS Indraprastha University, Delhi.
Any takers?

Not really? I honked for maybe half a second and flash beams for equally short time. Nothing more nothing less.
I do not think that would count as annoying on a single lane, nowhere to go :).
How about we mutually decide upon a standard code of acknowledgment whenever we spot a bhpian on road?
Cuz the honking, flashing and/or waving may not be interpreted by everyone owing to the fact that Rajesh pointed out.
Saw this sx4 in dahanukar colony. You even entered my society I was right behind you on my bike which also had tbhp stickers. While
You stopped for parking I was flashing lights at you. Bhpian?
Ps- sorry for the unclear pic.
What I feel is when we follow another BHPian with a sticker on his car, we try to tell the BHPian moving next to us that hey me too is a member of Team-BHP and to express this feeling we try to get the attention by honking or flashing lights but I think (personal opinion) it adds a little confusion. It is really hard to understand that the car behind is looking for side or for what signals are given.
In most of the cases, till we move ahead of the car next to us the driver of car is completely unaware about the sticker on our car. I myself have experienced this.
There are solutions for this like
kdp95 suggested to have a common protocol or Mods can come up with new sticker (like bright Yellow LTD one, may be 2"X2" or which looks good) which can be pasted on the front wind screen (preferably from inside) or we can put any of the existing sticker but what attention yellow will get I think other stickers will miss. It can be of similar size to the sticker which we usually put on our cars for our society/parking entry.
As this sticker can be seen in rear view mirror so the possibility of get acknowledgement from BHPian ahead will increase.

Good Evening mate, the standard acknowledgment signal for tbhp sightings has been discussed earlier too at length, but no viable solution reached as yet. May be something would work out in future till then keep it to flashing and waves.
thanks

Also, was anyone with a Brown Manza with MH02 CN registration visiting Akurli Industrial estate today morning? A LCLC sticker on the rear windsheild at around 10AM to noon.

Hi mate, good evening, i second your idea with a slight addition, sticker size perfect, color coding perfect, placement great but to further have an authentication why not include the member's tbhp forum handle on it? I think it will be a good idea though slightly time consuming but a meeting among the moderators can be done from every state and these specific sticker can be obtained from the respective moderators. I too hope to hear more potent views/ideas on it.
thanks
