Congratulations Maven! A red Cedia looks SWEET! Looks like I was wrong in what I said about the Magnum's GC issues. Sorry!

@ROC: will check out if budget permits the Yokos

@Redfire: nice one but seriously he said the whole thing "all wheel drive" and no abbrev.

@ Visu: yes i also noticed the low turning radius

@Shuvd: no sweat. i must also mention that i was quite inspired by your thread on the mods that you have done on your octy .
that's a hidden reason on turning towards the Cedia (the possibilities of modding a cedia are promising)

Hey Maven, congrats on your decision. So what's the ex:showroom price of Cedia Sports. Any discounts or freebies being offered by the dealer? What's the final OTR price?

i havent got a formal quote as yet but the dealer had agreed for free insurance and some 10k odd discount. will try and negotiate free/discounted extended warranty.
will post once the details and amounts are agreed upon.

Can you let me know the A.S.S of Mitsu cars in Bangalore? Is it Lathangi or Southern is good? Please let me know/

Lathangi is significantly better. Southern (India Garage) are a bunch of monkeys.

The Magnum ROCKS..its cheap to Run(diesel), Cheap to Own(3 year maintenance free) and it has an orgasmic amount of torque!!! The car never stops accelerating in any gear, and i've touched an indicated 200 on the Speedo, but then the limiter came into play!..stretch a little and go for the LT..its got all the goodies.

Cedia Sport is a good choice. I like white Cedia.
Well there is a thread, search for "oil sump", this is an issue with with Magnum, someone reported in tbhp. One of my friend even changed his mind after reading about oil sump issue with Magnum, he is looking for some good diesel sedan car, but he dont want to go for Octi, he heard Octavia is heavy in pocket when it comes to maitainanace.

tyre upgrade is a good idea, am myself using Yoko S-Drive on my Cedia which offers good handling, reasonably low noise levels and adequate ride quality...

@Chat: Thanks. i wud be booking the car first week May. Excel motors tells me they would take about 5 days to get the red sports. i found white too graceful and wanted some agression going.

@Pawan: yes in my case also the oil sump was one of the reasons why i gave up on magnum

@Flying & ROC: how about the Apollo Accelere's 205/60's? i want the initial set of tyres to last and dont want to go for performance tyres to start with.

Another question to the group: about the headlights most people mention its not adequate for highway driving. should i go for the Philips 90/100's or clamp on Hella's FF50's?
