Havent found many threads on the diesel fusion. Is it a good buy if one has to travel 3k kms a month and plan to keep the car for 5 years atleast?

Hey arunk,
the fusion D has just been launched and it comes with the Fiesta's engine.
For 3Kkm/month, i doubt there is any other better diesel car in that price range barring the Fiesta TDCi.
Go for it!

go for the fusion.it has the same engine, gearbox, interiors as the fiesta.AFAIK,its also built on the same platform as the fiesta so it also has the same amazing handling traits.the fiesta tdci is priced a lac dearer to the fusion.it makes more sense to buy the fusion.go for it.

You can go for Fusion or Fiesta. It again depends on what you prefer (a sedan or a hatch back).

Arun K<
The reason you do not see people discussing the Fod Fusion on the Forum is as most people have written it off. It is way overpriced for what is on offer and there are better options available ( Swift Diesel ) in case you do not need too much space ( Great performance) and the Logan/ Indigo for those who want more space. Then there are higher priced sedans like the Verna and Fiesta ewhich offer better build quality and image.
