That statment through me off track. The OTR price is not 9.55, it's 9.55 OTR 'after' discount. It's 9.8 OTR if I am right. It would help if you mention that the next time. Cheers...

VTEC was 9.2 On the Road in March---without ABS and airbags. Kinda overpriced.

Mitsubishi customer care?

I took a TD of this car recently and was very impressed. Just one little detail missing in both the website and the brochure I got at the dealership was the bootspace. I sent my query via the following link and even got a "we'll get back to you soon" automated response to my email ID.

Mitsubishi Lancer India

No responses so far inspite of sending reminders. Any idea if the above link works or is it just that the guys there don't care much? I'm sure this is a very basic detail they should have readily available.

I have taken the delivery of Sports M.Red yesterday. Car is really fabulous and we are enjoying with this beauty every moment.
Noticed couple of things in the car and you people may aware of this. Let me just share this.

-Driver side power windows works for 15 seconds after switch off the engine.
-Doors will be unlocked if you leave the keys in the ignition slot ( after switch off the engine). Really liked this feature.

Congrats VMG!
That first feature sure is a very handy one.
The second one is available on most of the systems I think.

What I mean is for the second point...

If you leave the key in the Ignition slot and come out of the car and try to lock the door manully it does not lock.

I think the Nippon in my Scorpio behaves the same way, though I haven't tried it out exactly as described by you.
When I stop and turn the ignition off, the doors unlock. If I intend to sit in the car I like to have the doors locked, particularly at long traffic signals. So, I press the lock button on the remote while the key is still in the ignition keyhole. Nothing happens, ie the doors do not lock.
Will try your method also and post later.
