Are you sure its more than the NHC GXI? I paid 7.67 lacs on-road Gurgaon for my SXI with ABS (including addl 2 years warranty of 9.2k and 2 k for mats & mud flaps) plus another 6k for the spoiler and I think that was still cheaper than the GXI

I got a quote of 7.7 L for the NHC Gxi in Delhi .. and thats not including any discounts - finance or dealer ..

@ankit.agl - prices in ghaziabad for hondas are cheaper by about 20-25k, thanks to the factory being in the same district - so you might want to take a look over there instead of delhi

ghaziabad doesnt have a ford dealer in the first place so I think Honda city makes a better option there.

but to validate my previous post here are some prices.

Ford fiesta sxi with ABS:- 761551

difference:- approx 7K

kolkata
NHC zx gxi :- 726,285
Ford fiesta sxi with ABS:- 726000
difference :- approx Rs200

but prices also differ to as much as 30k

ford fiesta sxi with abs-7,26

but now it depends on the consumer to decide whether ford fiesta for a bit extra money or equal money in their city makes it worth the price with extra features or not.

exactly why , IMHO , it doesn't make sense buying the city zx gxi
fiesta definately more value for money.

mileage of the city,is ofcourse an advantage , but don't forget the city's i-DSI powertrain is not comparable to the fiesta 1.6 , its comparable to the fiesta 1.4 ... which gives round about the same mileage as the city (maybe 1kmpl less in city)

therefore again IMHO , the city zx mileage is overhyped.
