Okayy so now the motorbike and a I are almost prepared, I wondering if anyone know about the travel time and availability of petrol on these following routes -

1. Leh - Deskit - Hundar
2. Deskit - Wari La - Sakti - Pangong Tso
3. Pangong Tso - Merak - Chushul - Hanle
4. Hanle - Mahe - Karzok (Tso Moriri)
5. Leh - Dah - Batalik - Kargil
6. Kargil - Rangdum - Padum
7. Kargil - Gurez - Srinagar

Any piece of information on this will be appreciated.

1. PP in Leh & Deskit, 4-5 hrs
2. No PP after Deskit, only in Karu on the Leh-Upshi road, 10-12 hrs
3. No PP, will they give permits to ride on this road?
4. No PP, should be 6-8 hrs
5. PP in Khaltse, Mulbek, Kargil
6. Where is Gurez? I know of only only one route, via Dras, no PP till near Sonmarg after Kargil

hey, any updates? could u post a list of prep-work done, especially on the bike? would be really helpful.
