Has anyone able to book special seva tickets through their online website? I think the quota is released 3 months in advance, but whenever I check, it shows it is full for sevas like Suprabhatam, thomal seva etc. Looks like it is like train ticket booking. The quota gets booked within seconds/minutes.

Please share your experience if you were able to get tickets for main deity sevas.

I have not booked myself, but I have heard that the quota opens at 12AM and gets filled up quickly. Try logging in early.

For several times, i've tried to book Kalyanaotsava seva ticket through online, but was never successful. I use to be awake till 12 midnight and try to book and by the time the quota opens for the day, it shows full status with RED color within seconds. Obviously i suspect something phishy here, as it cannot happen for every single day, so i finally gave up and went to Tirumala to book tickets in person.

Hi Guys, can someone confirm if the special admission for couples with children less than 5 years is still there? How would be the crowd there in the last week of July? My guess is, with the summer vacations over, it should be less. Any comments.

I don't remember ever seeing such special que for parents with children less than 5 years old. Although there is one for parents with infants. I think the limit is less than 1 year old child for that. My daughter was less than 5 till couple of months back but we did not see any special que for that.

There used to be one when I visited 4 years before. My son was then 4 months and I saw many parents joining us who had kids with them, some even looked like 6 - 7 years old. Did you try joining it and if so were denied?

Yes there is one queue for Infants(though now its till 3 yrs not 5 yrs) can join the queue.

its almost near to the entrance of the segradarshan(300 rs) ticket

you can ask the volunteers/police/security people for the infants queue they will guide you.

I went to Tirumala during June 28-30. Yes, there is special admission for couples with children. I am not sure about the age though. There was heavy crowd during that weekend.

Thanks Arun. How much time it took for you to complete darshan?

There is only one queue where parents with less than 1 year old infant is allowed. The queue name is called "Supatham" queue (search for the same in Bangalore-Tirupati thread to get more details) which is located near to entrance where kalayanotsava seva and other seva entry is present. It is not "actually" near to Rs.300 /- ticket entrance.

You would have seen kids around 3 years or 5 years or so in the same queue, because they allow siblings as well along with the infant and parents. Hence it is easy to misinterpret that there is some queue for less than 5 year old kid. Note that, for some cases, if the authorities are in doubt, they may ask for infant's birth certificate at times to ensure the infant is less than 1 year.

Team-Bhpians,

Need urgent help with darshan for couples with Infants. There is a special entry called Supatham/ Supadam. What's the timings for this entry?

Also what's the timing for senior citizen's entry?

TIA

IIRC Supatham Queue for Parents with Infants is open for couple of hours in morning and couple of hours in evening, but i don't recollect exact timings. You can call the TTD helpline number and reconfirm.
I entered the queue around 3 pm, so it should be the same now.

For senior citizens, they need to wait in the waiting area/shed with seats in front to main temple gopuram and they open the queue for every 2 hours, if i am not wrong.

I would be first time visitor to the Holy Tirpati temple.

I intend to take the darshan with wife and kid 4 yr old. Haven't done any booking till date.

Grateful for advices on how to arrange for darshan so as to keep kiddo minimum time in que. Is this month relatively lighter in terms of no of darshan seekers?

Hi Sindbad- what has worked best for me for several times in the past is a day trip on either a Tuesday or a Thursday. Another day that I love is the diwali day. I've always managed to buy the 300 rupee ticket at the Tirumala itself and have been blessed with darshan in less than 2 hours. So for a first tine visit I would recommend not to visit over a weekend -especially Saturdays are best avoided.

If it permits, try the diwali day which is just a couple weeks away.

Hi, it's very difficult to predict rush at tirumala.

TTD has recently started online booking of Rs.300 quick darshan tickets, that way your Darshan will be over within 2hrs. You may try your luck to see if you can get it for your dates.

If you are going without prior reservation then find and join Rs.300 queue which may take anywhere between 2-5hrs or more depending on rush.
Since you have a small kid and its your first visit, would suggest to try online advance reservation
route.
