Andhiyur - Kollegal

Anyone has taken this road recently -Andhiyur - Kollegal?
Any feedback on road condition?

Kollegal is getting a bypass. Once you cross Shivasamudram and you enter Kollagal, you can see three options. One bypasses the town to take you directly towards Yelandur. The second takes you into the town. The third one connects you towards Hanur side. This third option was still I think nearing completion.

As regards to the Ramapura-Anthiyur road, please avoid. The KA section is totally broken and in rains it would be even worse. Once you enter TN it's bliss though. But the road is very narrow and trucks do ply on this section.

Yes, the ghat road on the Karnataka side is a dust bowl and in total shambles, completely neglected after the road was tarred a decade ago? As you said, the moment one crosses over to the TN side it seems like a totally different road that’s in great shape!

Hi everyone - Would appreciate any inputs on Mysore - MM Hills - Mettur road conditions. Travelling in a hatchback with a toddler.
