Hi,

Planning to go out this Sunday. We are 3 - two bros & myself. Available modes are Railways / Bus - though we have Bullet but 3 can not go on a 2 seater

Pls help out considering:

1) time available: Morning around 8 till late evening
2) Distance constraints: no
3) Purpose of trip: wandering for rejuvenation
4) the location should be encouraging photography (must have scenary); avoiding temples, forts, etc.

Pls revert if any more inputs are rqeuired.

matheran,malshej ghat ,bhandardara as far as the hills goes.

beaches mein go to gorai /bordi ( few people,dirty sea water unfortunately)

all max 100 km from thane.

though all are a must visit place during the monsoons but you can certainly go there for fresh air ,scenary.

for rejuvenation you can also go to some kerela spa man

In the last week of Feb'09 we had been to Matheran. Nice Hill station - "tinniest in the world" as mentioned there on one of the boards.Encl are the images:

We had been to Malshej Ghat too. But unfortunately didn't carry the digital camera (regular one). So snaps are from the Cellphone camera - quality of images is poor. Kindly bear.
